Elimin-air is a high capacity bi-directional vessel.
Principal Operation:
Elimin-air is designed to remove air and or trapped gas bubbles from the fluid train. The entrapped gas or air is removed for measurement accuracy ensuring that the measured product is that of close to 100% liquid.
The measurement of a gas or air free liquid ensure that all parties involved are getting the maximum accuracy of the product being hauled, as air and or gas through a measurement device greatly affects the accuracy.
Sources of Air or Vapour:
In some cases pumping in and or out of storage tanks can cause vapours to enter the piping systems through a low level condition. Elimin-air ensures the measured product always contains no vapour in the liquids.
Transport trucks unloading into a facility cause great amounts of air to enter the system through the hose when starting to unload fluids and at the end of a load. Elimin-air takes care of the air by venting it off to a flare system ensuring that you are getting only liquids to your measurement device.
In Conclusion:
With the installation of an Elimin-air system, you can be confident that the measured product will be that of liquid and not vapour, ensuring maximum metering potential.

- 1” Pressure Relief Valve
Elimin-Air will work in sour service applications and is available in 2 pressure ratings, 150 psi & 250 psi. Elimin-Air’s can be custom built.
